Educateme at Healthcare Week Luxembourg 2025 - Introducing Medical Luxembourgish for Healthcare Teams
On October 7–8, Educateme had the pleasure of participating in Healthcare Week Luxembourg (HWL) — a national event that brings together leading professionals from health and social care for two days of conferences, debates, and networking.
Each year, HWL serves as a meeting point for healthcare leaders, researchers, and innovators to discuss the sector’s most pressing topics: data, research, human resources, training, and workforce development. For us at Educateme, it was an inspiring opportunity to connect with those shaping the future of care in Luxembourg.
At HWL, we presented our flagship program: Medical Luxembourgish for Healthcare Teams — a course designed to make patient communication safer and smoother without disrupting busy hospital shifts.
This program helps multilingual healthcare professionals gain confidence in Luxembourgish for real clinical situations, from triage to discharge, through live, teacher-led small-group sessions.

Why Healthcare Organisations Choose Lëtz Care
Hospitals and care providers choose our healthcare language training because it goes beyond vocabulary—it improves the quality and safety of patient care from the very first interaction.
Safer care at first contact: greet, assess, and explain in Luxembourgish.
Fewer misunderstandings: clear instructions and de-escalation scripts for families.
Faster handovers: structured SBAR communication in Lëtz.
Shift-proof scheduling: flexible evening sessions and recordings.
HR-ready reporting: attendance, progress, and competency checklists.
What Your Teams Will Learn
By the end of the Medical Luxembourgish course, participants will be able to:
Welcome and triage patients in Luxembourgish (identity, allergies, pain scale).
Explain procedures and confirm understanding using teach-back methods.
Give medication and discharge instructions (dose, timing, red flags).
Deliver structured SBAR handovers in Luxembourgish.
Handle reception and phone basics: spelling names, routing, and wayfinding.
Our Luxembourgish for healthcare workers pathway is structured in two practical steps (3–6 months total):
Step 1 — Foundations (if needed)
Learn essential Luxembourgish (A0→A1/A2) for greetings, questions, numbers, and everyday patient interaction.
Step 2 — Clinical Specialisation
Focus on triage, consent, medication, discharge, and SBAR handovers with pronunciation coaching and role-plays.
Designed for healthcare professionals with busy schedules: evening groups, weekly mirror sessions, recordings, and short recap tasks. The course is available online or on-premise.
